Apollo Hospitals to Acquire 31% Stake in Apollo Health for ₹1,254 Crore

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd has approved the acquisition of a 30.58% equity stake in its subsidiary, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Ltd (AHLL), from International Finance Corporation (IFC) and IFC EAF for ₹1,254 crore. The transaction, pending Competition Commission of India approval, is expected to close by November 2025.

Post-acquisition, AHLL will become a 99.4%-owned subsidiary of Apollo Hospitals, with the remaining stake held under an ESOP pool. AHLL operates specialty hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers, reporting consolidated revenues of ₹1,553 crore in FY25.

Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, emphasized the strategic focus on primary care, diagnostics, women’s health, and ambulatory services.
